Biography
Ebbe Roe Smith is an American actor and screenwriter. He was born on 25 June 1949 in San Diego, California.
Smith wrote the screenplay for the 1993 film Falling Down, in which he also appeared as Guy on Freeway. He co-wrote the teleplay for the short film Partners (1993), which received an Academy Award nomination. As an actor he has appeared in films including Brubaker (1980), The Big Easy (1986), Turner & Hooch (1989) and Mad City (1997), and in television series such as Cheers, Grimm and Portlandia.
