Biography
Ebony Obsidian is an American actress. She was born on 16 April 1994 in New Paltz, New York, and trained at the William Esper Studio in New York City after studying journalism.
Obsidian had a supporting role as Adrienne Hunt in the 2018 film If Beale Street Could Talk. She has since appeared as Michelle in the Netflix series Master of None (2017), Nia in Wu-Tang: An American Saga (2019), Carol Lockhart in Hunters (2020), and Karen Mott in the BET series Sistas (2019–present). In 2024 she played Lena Derriecott King in the film The Six Triple Eight, for which she received NAACP Image Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture and Outstanding Breakthrough Performance.
