Biography
Ebrahim Ghafori is an Iranian cinematographer. He was born in Tehran in 1960.
He has worked frequently with Iranian directors including members of the Makhmalbaf family. His credits include The Apple (1998), Blackboards (2000), Kandahar (2001), September 11 (2002), Osama (2003), At Five in the Afternoon (2003) and The White Meadows (2009). He has also worked on later films such as The Pride (2022).
Ghafori has received more than ten international awards, including recognition associated with Osama at Cannes.
