Biography
Ed McCardie is a British television writer and producer. He began writing in 1996 with the short film Hard Nut: A Love Story and won a BAFTA award as best new writer for his work on the series Tinsel Town (2000). He wrote and produced episodes across multiple seasons of the Channel 4 series Shameless (2004–2013).
McCardie co-created, wrote and executive produced the series Spotless (2015) for Canal+ and Netflix. He later served as writer and co-executive producer on the US series Sneaky Pete (2015) and Lost in Space (2018).
