Biography

Eddie Whaley Jr. is a British actor born in February 1939 in Brighton, England. He is the son of the African-American comedian Eddie Whaley, one half of the music hall duo Scott and Whaley.

His screen credits include the role of Joseph Anthony in the 1947 film Black Narcissus, directed by Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger, and an appearance in one episode of the American anthology series Chevron Theatre in 1952. In 1959 he moved to the United States and served three years in the US Army. He later performed as a tenor with the vocal group The Deep River Boys and settled in Florida.
