Biography
Eden Dambrine is a Belgian actor. Born on 26 January 2007 in Villeneuve-d'Ascq, Hauts-de-France, France, he starred as Léo in the 2022 film Close, directed by Lukas Dhont.
Dambrine met Dhont on a train journey and was invited to audition for the role. He trained at the Royal Ballet of Antwerp. The film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, where it won the Grand Prix.
Dambrine has received several awards for his performance, including Most Promising Actor at the 2023 Magritte Awards. He has also appeared on French television programmes.
