Biography

Eduardo Calvo was a Spanish actor born in Madrid. He appeared in numerous films from the 1970s onwards and was also active in television and as a voice dubber of foreign films.

He is known for roles including Lucía's father in Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown (1988), the Republican colonel in The Heifer (1985), Sergeant Taylor in Cut-Throats Nine (1971) and Dr Phillipe in Blue Eyes of the Broken Doll (1974). Calvo was the son of actor Rafael Calvo and worked with directors including Pedro Almodóvar, Carlos Saura and Luis Berlanga.
