Biography
Edvin Ryding is a Swedish actor. Born Lars Edvin Folke Ryding on 4 February 2003 in Stockholm, he made his television debut at the age of five in the series Mannen under trappan (2009).
Ryding has appeared in numerous Swedish productions, including Fröken Frimans krig, Gåsmamman (2015–2025) as Linus Ek, several Annika Bengtzon films (2011–2012), The Crown Jewels (2011) and The Abyss (2023). He gained international recognition for his leading role as Prince Wilhelm in the Netflix series Young Royals (2021–2024). In 2025 he made his Hollywood debut as Erik Sundqvist in 28 Years Later.
He provided the lead voice in the animated film Resan till Fjäderkungens rike and was included on the Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe list in 2022. He is the grandson of journalist Lars Ryding.
