Biography
Edward Ashley is an English actor. He made his television debut in the BBC One series Last Tango in Halifax (2012–2013), appearing as William across the first two seasons.
His film roles include Barzillai Ray in In the Heart of the Sea (2015), Arthur Manley in The Lost City of Z (2016) and Earl of Cambridge in The King (2019). He has also appeared in the series Sense8 (2015), The Terror (2018) and Masters of the Air (2024). Ashley made his stage debut in The Lady from the Sea at the Coronet Theatre, London, in 2019, and is cast as Ser Steffon Fossoway in the forthcoming series A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms (2026).
