Biography
Edward Fitzgerald is a production designer and art director. He worked extensively on Mexican cinema from the 1940s to the 1970s, as well as on several international productions.
His credits include production design on The Young and the Damned (1950), Él (1953), Death in the Garden (1956) and The Skeleton of Mrs. Morales (1960). He served as art director on Robinson Crusoe (1954), Garden of Evil (1954), Nazarín (1959) and The Magnificent Seven (1960).
Fitzgerald received Ariel Awards for best production design for Bel Ami (1947), The Young and the Damned (1950) and Robinson Crusoe (1954).
