Biography
Edward J. Pei is a cinematographer. He has worked on numerous television series and films since the 1980s, initially in camera and electrical department roles before taking on director of photography credits.
His television credits include director of photography on the pilot episode of Sons of Anarchy (2008), episodes of Marvel's Agent Carter (2015), Falling Skies (2011), Primeval (2007), Goliath (2016–2018) and AJ and the Queen (2020), as well as Dexter: Original Sin (2024). Film work includes Primeval (2007) and The Stand (1994). He has also contributed to Only the Strong (1993), Overnight Delivery (1998) and Howling VI: The Freaks (1991).
Pei has been a member of the American Society of Cinematographers since 1997. He received a Primetime Emmy nomination and has one win and two nominations in total.
