Biography
Edward Snowden is an American former intelligence contractor who has appeared as himself in several documentary films. He is credited as Self in the 2014 documentary Citizenfour, directed by Laura Poitras, which documents meetings in Hong Kong regarding disclosures of classified information.
Snowden also has a brief cameo appearance as himself in the 2016 biographical film Snowden, directed by Oliver Stone. Additional credits include archive footage appearances in documentaries such as Terms and Conditions May Apply (2013), Risk (2017) and The Panama Papers (2018). He was born on 21 June 1983 in Elizabeth City, North Carolina.
