Biography

Edwin Max was an American actor. Born Edwin Miller on 4 May 1909 in Georgia, he appeared in films and television from the 1940s until the late 1970s. He died on 17 October 1980 in Los Angeles, California.

He is credited as Dr. McEwen in the 1946 film A Matter of Life and Death. Other film roles include Danny in The Set-Up (1949), Dave in Thieves' Highway (1949), and Harold in The Incredible Melting Man (1977). Television appearances encompass episodes of The Fugitive (1963) as Stark, Mannix (1967) as Charley, and Green Acres (1969–1970).
