Biography
Elaine Stewart was an American actress and model. Born Elsy Henrietta Maria Steinberg on 31 May 1930 in Montclair, New Jersey, she began her career as a model and won the title of Miss See in See Magazine in 1952.
She appeared in films including an uncredited role in Singin' in the Rain (1952), The Bad and the Beautiful (1952) as Lila, Brigadoon (1954) as Jane Ashton and Night Passage (1957) as Verna Kimball. Stewart also guest-starred in television series such as Perry Mason (1957) as Irene Grey. She later worked as a co-hostess on game shows including Gambit and High Rollers. She died on 27 June 2011 in Beverly Hills, California.
