Biography
Elena Bucci is an Italian actress known for supporting roles in several films directed by Luca Guadagnino. She played Bambi, an art historian, in Call Me by Your Name (2017) and Clara in A Bigger Splash (2015). She also appeared as Luisa Baccara in The Bad Poet (2020) and had a recurring role as Maxima in the television series Romulus (2020).
Bucci trained at the Scuola di Teatro di Bologna and was a member of the Teatro di Leo company under Leo de Berardinis from 1985 to 2001. She works extensively in theatre as an actress, playwright and director, and has received awards including the Premio Ubu in 2016.
