Biography
Elia Saldana, also credited as Ella Saldana North or Ella North, is an actress working in film, television and theatre.
She holds a BA in Theatre from the University of California, San Diego, and trained at Upright Citizens Brigade and The Groundlings. Her screen credits include the role of Fan #2 in Jane the Virgin (2015), Marla Golden in Criminal Minds (2013), Maid in 9-1-1 (2024), and voice work as Cecilia in The Cleveland Show (2012–2013) and Ms Clawtez in Pretzel and the Puppies (2022–2023). Film appearances include Jesse in Street Level (2015) and Immigrant in Flesh and Sand (2017).
Stage work includes productions at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Goodman Theatre, Arena Stage and South Coast Repertory. She received an Ovation Award nomination for Best Actress for Family Planning and won Best Actress at the Nosotros American Latino Film Festival for Echoes.
