Biography
Eliot Feld is an American ballet choreographer, dancer and actor. Born in Brooklyn, New York on 5 July 1942, he trained at the High School of Performing Arts, the School of American Ballet and the New Dance Group.
At the age of sixteen he appeared on Broadway in West Side Story and was cast as Baby John in the 1961 film version of the musical. He also danced in the Broadway productions of I Can Get It for You Wholesale and Fiddler on the Roof.
In 1967 Feld formed the American Ballet Company and in 1978 established the New Ballet School, later known as Ballet Tech.
