Biography
Elisabeth J. Finch is an American television writer. She began her career as a writer's assistant on True Blood in 2008 and was later promoted to writer. She wrote episodes for No Ordinary Family and The Vampire Diaries (2012–2014) before joining Grey's Anatomy in 2015 as a writer and producer.
Finch wrote 13 episodes of Grey's Anatomy and produced 172 episodes until resigning in March 2022. She had previously published essays, including a 2014 piece in Elle about a reported chondrosarcoma diagnosis. An investigation into fabricated elements of her personal and medical history prompted her departure from the series.
