Biography
Élise Lhomeau is a French actress. She trained at the Cours Florent and the Conservatoire national supérieur d'art dramatique, where she studied with Dominique Valadié and Laurent Natrella.
She was first noted for the lead role in Jean-Paul Civeyrac's Des filles en noir (2010), which screened in the Directors' Fortnight at Cannes and earned her a César nomination for Most Promising Actress. In 2012 she appeared as Léa in Leos Carax's Holy Motors. Her other film credits include Les Salauds (2013), L'Avenir (2016) and Things to Come (2016). She has also worked in television, including Dix pour cent (2015) and Nona et ses filles (2021).
On stage she has performed with the Comédie-Française (2018–2023) and in productions directed by Denis Podalydès, Christophe Honoré and others.
