Biography
Elizabeth Cuthrell is a writer and film producer. She is co-founder of Evenstar Films, a New York City-based production company, and a member of the Producers Guild of America.
She wrote the screenplay for and produced the film Jesus' Son (1999), adapted from Denis Johnson's short stories. Cuthrell produced Kelly Reichardt's Meek's Cutoff (2010). Other production credits include The Same Storm (2021) and The Sisterhood of Night (2014).
Cuthrell attended the University of Hawaii at Manoa, the University of Pennsylvania and received an MFA from New York University. She has also worked in theatre as a producer.
