Biography

Elizabeth Kling is a film and television editor and producer. She began her career in New York as an assistant editor on features including The Pope of Greenwich Village (1984) and went on to edit Georgia (1995), Practical Magic (1998), Addicted to Love (1997) and The Invisible Circus (2001).

In television she edited 15 episodes of the HBO series Deadwood (2004–2006), for which she also served as associate producer, as well as episodes of Crash (2008–2009), The Killing (2011–2014) and Gypsy (2017). She has produced and co-directed the documentary Crescendo: The Power of Music (2014) and has taught editing at Columbia University and the Sundance Lab.
