Biography
Elizabeth Saunders (born Elizabeth Brown) is a British-born Canadian actress. Born in Bristol, England, she was raised in Calgary, Alberta, and holds a BFA in acting from the University of Alberta and an MA in theatre performance and drama from the University of Toronto.
She began her career in voice work, including as Mrs Turtle in the animated series Franklin (1997–2004), and has appeared in numerous stage productions, including several seasons at the Shaw Festival. On screen, she is known for roles in The Boondock Saints (1999), It (2017), Orphan Black (2013), Alias Grace (2017), and as Donna in the series From (2022–present).
Saunders has received a Saturn Award nomination for her performance in From, a Canadian Screen Award nomination for Mary Kills People (2019), and an ACTRA Award for the short film SmokeBreak (2023), which she also co-produced.
