Biography
Elizabeth White is a British producer and director at the BBC Natural History Unit, specialising in natural history documentaries. A former research biologist with a PhD in zoology from the University of Bristol, she joined the BBC after work experience on The Blue Planet and has worked there since the mid-2000s.
She served as assistant producer and director on Frozen Planet (2011), contributing to episodes about polar people and the environment, and as director and producer on Planet Earth II (2016). White was series producer on Frozen Planet II (2022) and has also worked on The Great British Year (2013).
