Biography
Elke Maravilha (born Elke Grünupp) was a German-Brazilian actress, model and television personality. She was born on 22 February 1945 in Leutkirch im Allgäu, Germany, and moved to Brazil with her family as a child. She studied at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul and began working as a model in 1969.
Maravilha appeared in numerous films, including Xica da Silva (1976), Pixote (1980) as Débora, Zuzu Angel (2006) and Meu Passado Me Condena: O Filme (2013). She was a regular judge on the television programmes of Chacrinha from 1972 for fourteen years and later presented her own talk show. She died in Rio de Janeiro on 16 August 2016.
