Biography
Ellen Keneshea is an American film editor. She began her career in live action, working for Roger Corman at New World Pictures.
In 1992 she joined Walt Disney Feature Animation on a short-term basis to assist with The Lion King (1994) and remained for sixteen years. She worked on Pocahontas (1995), Fantasia 2000 (1999) and various shorts. She served as lead editor on The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1996), Atlantis: The Lost Empire (2001) and Meet the Robinsons (2007). She later edited the documentary Waking Sleeping Beauty (2009) and contributed to Oceans (2009). During her time at Disney she transitioned from cutting on film to digital editing.
