Biography
Ellen Strauss is an attorney based in Weston, Connecticut, and a friend of Kathie Durst. She has appeared as herself in numerous true crime documentaries examining the disappearance of Kathie Durst and the cases surrounding Robert Durst.
Her credits include The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst (2015), in which she discussed her early investigations into Kathie's 1982 disappearance, as well as appearances in 48 Hours, Mugshots (2002), Power, Privilege & Justice (2009), Vanity Fair Confidential (2015), Robert Durst: An ID Murder Mystery (2019) and Very Scary People (2020).
