Biography
Elliott Wheeler is an Australian composer and music producer. He studied composition and brass at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and founded Turning Studios in Sydney.
Wheeler is best known for his long collaboration with director Baz Luhrmann. He worked as composer and executive music producer on The Great Gatsby (2013), The Get Down (2016–2017) and Elvis (2022). His other film credits include Restraint (2008) and Every Day (2018).
He has also arranged music for the Ship Song Project at the Sydney Opera House and released the album The Long Time (2013). Wheeler is now based in New York.
