Biography
Elva Hsiao is a Taiwanese singer and actress. Born on 24 August 1979 in Zhongli District, Taoyuan, she trained in fashion design in Vancouver before entering the entertainment industry after placing as a finalist in the 1998 New Talent Singing Awards.
She made her feature film debut in a supporting role as May in the 2002 Hong Kong crime thriller Infernal Affairs. Hsiao has also provided voice work for the 2004 animated film The Butterfly Lovers and appeared in later features including What Women Want (2011) and 100% Kiss (2012).
