Biography
Elwen Rowlands is a British television producer and former script editor. Born in Wales, she began her career in New York City before returning to the UK and working in various roles at Channel 4, including as a script reader and development assistant at FilmFour. In 2002 she joined BBC Wales as a script editor.
Her early credits as script editor include seven episodes of the 2005 revival of Doctor Who and the first series of Life on Mars (2006). She subsequently moved into producing, with credits including the 2006 BBC Four adaptation Wide Sargasso Sea, the 2011 episode of Vera, and executive producer roles on The Pact (2021–2022) and the forthcoming Under Salt Marsh (2026).
