Biography
Emil Birk Hartmann is a Danish actor born on 26 September 1990 in Copenhagen. He made his television debut as Niklas in the series Lærkevej (2009–2010).
Hartmann is known for his role as August Rohde in the crime series The Bridge (2011), for which he received a nomination for Årets TV-Stjerneskud. His other screen credits include the film Swinger (2016) as Patrick, Limbo (2012) and Mercur (2017). He trained at Det Danske Musicalakademi, graduating in 2014, and has appeared in stage musicals including productions at Fredericia Teater and Aalborg Teater.
