Biography
Emilio Kauderer is an Argentine composer, conductor, orchestrator and songwriter based in Los Angeles. He studied composition with Jacobo Ficher and conducting with Jaques Bodmer. He trained as a classical pianist at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Kyiv and continued his studies at the Gnesina College of Music and the Tchaikovsky Moscow Conservatory in Russia.
Kauderer has composed scores for more than eighty film and television projects. He co-composed the music for The Secret in Their Eyes (2009) with Federico Jusid and scored the 2015 English-language remake. He has collaborated extensively with director Juan José Campanella on films including Underdogs (2013) and The Weasel's Tale (2019). Other notable credits include A Place in the World (1992), Miss Bala (2011) and My Masterpiece (2018). He won a Latin Grammy for his work on Bajofondo's 2002 album Bajofondo Tango Club and has received several awards from the Argentine Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for best film score.
