Biography
Emily Abbott is a television writer. She graduated from UCLA in 2019 with a degree in English Creative Writing and Film and Television.
She began working on Cobra Kai as a writer's production assistant on season 3. She later served as showrunner's assistant on season 5 before becoming a staff writer on the final season (2024–2025), for which she also received a writing credit on one episode. Abbott previously worked as a writer's assistant and script coordinator on the Netflix series Obliterated (2023). She co-hosts the lifestyle podcast Open To It.
