Biography
Emily Joyce (born 12 April 1969) is an English actress. Born in London, she joined the National Youth Theatre at the age of fifteen. After working at Vogue and attending drama school, she performed with the Royal Shakespeare Company. Her earliest television credit was a guest role in the 1995 series Cracker.
Joyce is known for playing Janet Dawkins in the BBC comedy series My Hero (2000–2006). Her other screen credits include the films National Treasure: Book of Secrets (2007) and Universal Soldier: Regeneration (2009), and guest appearances in television series such as Friday Night Dinner (2016) as Melissa, Call the Midwife, Vera, Midsomer Murders, Lewis and Father Brown.
