Biography
Emita Frigato is an Italian production designer and art director. She began her career in the early 1980s as an assistant on films including I fichissimi (1981) and worked with scenographer Paolo Biagetti on several productions.
Frigato has collaborated repeatedly with director Alice Rohrwacher, serving as production designer on The Wonders (2014), Happy as Lazzaro (2018) and La Chimera (2023). Other credits include Noi credevamo (2010), 18 Presents (2020), Bad Tales (2020) and The Macaluso Sisters (2020). She received the David di Donatello for best production design for Noi credevamo and the European Film Award for production design for La Chimera.
