Biography
Emma Bates is an American actress. She was born on 19 May 1978 in Houston, Texas.
She trained in the professional theatre programme at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and performed with Milwaukee theatre companies, including at the American Players Theatre, before moving to Los Angeles. Bates is known for her role as Ursula in Joss Whedon's Much Ado About Nothing (2012) and for guest appearances in television series such as NCIS (2005), Monk (2003), Cold Case (2004) and Without a Trace (2009).
