Biography
Emma de Caunes is a French actress. Born in Paris on 9 September 1976, she is the daughter of actor and director Antoine de Caunes. She began acting as a child and made her feature film debut in 1997 in Un frère, for which she received the César Award for Most Promising Actress.
De Caunes has appeared in a range of French and international productions. Her credits include Asterix & Obelix: Mission Cleopatra (2002), The Science of Sleep (2006), Mr. Bean's Holiday (2007) as Sabine, and The Diving Bell and the Butterfly (2007) as Empress Eugenia. She has also worked in television, including the series Kaamelott (2005) and Ransom (2017).
She has directed short films and is married to comic book artist Jamie Hewlett.
