Biography
Emma Napper is a British director and producer of natural history documentaries. She trained as a biologist, completing a PhD on ants and butterflies, before joining the BBC Natural History Unit as a researcher around 2005.
Her credits include researcher roles on Life in the Undergrowth (2005) and Life (2009), assistant producer on Madagascar (2011), and producer and director on Life Story (2014). She directed and produced the Jungles episode of Planet Earth II (2016) and directed episodes of Seven Worlds, One Planet (2019) and Dynasties (2020).
