Biography
Emma Rydal is an English actress. She was born in 1973 in Cumbria and graduated from Middlesex University in 1994 with a BA (Hons) in Performance Arts.
She is known for her role as Stella Moorhouse in the film East Is East (1999). Her television work includes appearances in Playing the Field (1998–2000), Coronation Street (2003) as Maz O'Loughlin, Midsomer Murders (2016) as Geri Barkham, Stella (2014–2016) as Celia, Emmerdale (2019–2023), Vera (2012) as Mattie, Red Rose (2022) as Mrs Taylor, and Doctors.
Rydal has also worked extensively in radio, voice-over and theatre; she runs her own company, La’al Marra Productions.
