Biography
Enzo Tarascio was an Italian actor and voice actor. Born Vincenzo Gaetano Tarascio on 19 March 1919 in Turin, he worked in cinema, television, theatre and radio from the 1950s onwards, often in supporting roles as authority figures or tough characters. He died on 1 October 2006 in San Cesareo.
He is known for his performance as Professor Luca Quadri in Bernardo Bertolucci’s The Conformist (1970). Other film roles include Mitch, the sheriff, in Trinity Is Still My Name (1971) and George Harriman in The Night Evelyn Came Out of the Grave (1971). Tarascio also appeared in television productions such as Il conte di Montecristo and worked extensively as a dubber. On stage he collaborated with Giorgio Strehler and the Piccolo Teatro di Milano.
