Biography
Eric Deacon is an English actor and writer. Born in Oxford in 1950, he trained at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art and began his career in repertory theatre.
He is known for his role as Oliver Deuce in the 1985 film A Zed & Two Noughts, in which he appeared alongside his brother, actor Brian Deacon. His other acting credits include appearances in Doctor Who (1985), Lovejoy, Casualty and Prime Suspect (as Dr Gordon). As a writer, his credits include the Prime Suspect episode Inner Circles (1995), episodes of The Bill and Lovejoy, and other television dramas.
Deacon is married to actress Laraine Humphrys.
