Biography
Éric Moynier, also credited as Eric Moynier, is a cinematographer and member of the American Society of Cinematographers. He began his career in Montreal in the late 1980s, shooting documentaries for The Learning Channel and Discovery Channel that took him across Asia, South and Central America, Africa and Europe.
He worked extensively as a camera operator on feature films including Remember Me (2010), Win Win (2011) and Christopher Guest’s Waiting for Guffman (1997), as well as four seasons of the HBO series Boardwalk Empire. As director of photography, his credits include seasons of The Blacklist (2013), two seasons of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (2017), Manhunt (2017), The Good Cop (2018), Julia (2022), Kaleidoscope (2023) and I’m a Virgo (2023). He has also shot award-winning VR projects including the Peabody-winning Miyubi (2017).
