Biography
Eric Notarnicola is an American screenwriter, director and producer. Born on 5 April 1987 in Raleigh, North Carolina, he studied at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He began his career as a television editor and visual effects artist, collaborating frequently with the comedy duo Tim and Eric before moving into writing, directing and producing.
Notarnicola has written for Nathan for You (2013–2017) and Who Is America? (2018). He has maintained a long collaboration with Tim Heidecker and Gregg Turkington on the On Cinema comedy projects since 2013, serving as writer, director and producer. He directed the 2019 feature Mister America and the 2020 Netflix special Eric Andre: Legalize Everything. He is a writer and executive producer on the HBO series The Rehearsal (2022–present).
