Biography
Eric Paykert is an actor and producer. He is known for playing Eric the Bail Bondsman in the 2017 film Good Time, directed by Josh and Benny Safdie.
Before entering acting, Paykert worked as a bail bondsman in Queens, New York, for twenty years. The Safdie brothers initially approached him only for use of his office as a filming location, but later cast him in the role after deciding against using a well-known actor.
Paykert has appeared in several independent short films shot in New York City and is credited as Richard (and executive producer) in the forthcoming feature Knights of Night (2026). He works for the public defenders' office Queens Defenders.
