Biography
Eric Schoonover is a production designer based in Portland, Oregon. He grew up in Kansas and moved to Los Angeles in 2000.
He is known for his work on the HBO series Barry (2018–2023), serving as art director on the first two seasons and production designer on later ones; he received two Emmy nominations in the category of Outstanding Production Design for a Narrative Program (Half-Hour or Less). Other credits include production design on the Netflix series Running Point (2025) and the film Keeping Company (2021), as well as art direction on Baskets (2016–2018) and Portlandia (2013).
