Biography
Erica Shelton Kodish is a television writer and producer. A Detroit native, she studied at Northwestern University and received a graduate degree in screenwriting from the University of Southern California, where she was awarded the Courtney and Stephen J. Ross Fellowship.
She began her career as a writers’ assistant on CSI: NY and has written episodes for Cold Case (2003), Covert Affairs (2010), The Good Wife (2009), Being Mary Jane, FBI (2018), The Equalizer (2021) and Elsbeth (2024). She advanced to supervising producer and co-executive producer on The Good Wife, served as showrunner and executive producer on season four of Being Mary Jane, and has held executive producer and consulting producer roles on later series.
