Biography
Erik Bork is an American screenwriter and producer. He wrote multiple episodes of the HBO miniseries From the Earth to the Moon (1998) and Band of Brothers (2001), and was part of the producing teams that won two Primetime Emmy Awards and two Golden Globe Awards.
Bork began his career as an assistant to Tom Hanks. He has written pilots and screenplays for companies including NBC, Fox, Universal, HBO, TNT and Playtone, and worked on the writing staff of two primetime dramas. He teaches screenwriting for UCLA Extension Writers' Program and National University, and wrote the book The Idea: The Seven Elements of a Viable Story for Screen, Stage, or Fiction.
