Biography
Erik Wedersøe (1938–2011) was a Danish actor, director and writer. He trained at the acting school of Århus Teater from 1964 and began his career in theatre before appearing in films from the late 1960s.
He is known for his role as Stoffer's uncle in Lars von Trier's The Idiots (1998) and for playing Ole (and providing the voice of Age Krüger) in the television series The Kingdom (1994) and The Kingdom II (1997). Other credits include the long-running role of Ulf Thomsen in the series Rejseholdet (2000–2004) and directing the feature Anna (2000).
Wedersøe was married to Birgitte Wedersøe.
