Biography
Erika Dapkewicz is a film editor, also credited as Eric Dapkewicz. She began her career in the mid-1990s at Walt Disney Feature Animation, working on editorial production for Mulan (1998) before serving as associate editor on Lilo & Stitch (2002).
Dapkewicz spent thirteen years at DreamWorks Animation as an editor on Flushed Away (2006), Monsters vs. Aliens (2009) and Puss in Boots (2011), with additional editing on The Croods (2013) and editing duties on the television special Trolls Holiday (2017). She later edited Vivo (2021) at Sony Pictures Animation and The Twits (2025). She is a member of American Cinema Editors and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, where she serves on the Animation Executive Committee. She graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a B.A. in Film and Television.
