Biography
Eriko Tamura is a Japanese actress and singer. Born on 16 January 1973 in Hitachinaka, Ibaraki Prefecture, she began her career in Japan after winning a national singing competition at age 14. She released ten albums and 18 singles with EMI, toured extensively, and appeared in more than twenty films and television series, including the historical drama Hideyoshi.
Tamura lived in Düsseldorf, Germany, for six years during her childhood and speaks fluent English, German and Japanese. She moved to the United States in 2000. Her American credits include Princess Yaeko in the NBC series Heroes (2007), Kristen in Reaper (2009), Chika in Surf School (2006) and Mai in the feature film Dragonball Evolution (2009).
