Biography
Erin Armstrong is a Scottish actress. She was born on 18 September 1995 in Houston, Renfrewshire.
She began performing at PACE Youth Theatre and secured her breakout role as Cassie Perez in the BBC series Shetland (2013–2022) through an open audition while studying psychology at Glasgow University. She appeared in 27 episodes across the series. Other television credits include World's End (2015) as Mackenzie, Rillington Place (2016) as Hectorina, Glasgow Girls (2014) as Emma, and River City (2014).
Armstrong made her professional stage debut playing Lena Zavaroni in the 2022 production Lena. She is also a qualified primary school teacher.
